At IMT we offer EOT Cranes with complete customized solution .These cranes have compact dimensions, customized made according to customer demand these cranes are easy to operate and easy to maintain. Heavy duty motors are provided to ensure long hours service without any breakdown. Hydraulic thrustor brakes are provided for braking. Modular designing covers a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and reliable operation with fuse-less circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection. Our cranes offer various crane beam to end carriage constructions ensuring optimum use of headroom. Hoists are offered as standard in low headroom format running on the bottom flange of the beam. One simple advantage of our designs is the possibility to fit a walkway to the crane for giving maintenance access to many critical parts.

At IMT we offer cost-effective custom engineered ladle cranes which are exclusively designed and developed to suit the needs of Industrial Furnaces. During steel production large overhead travelling cranes are required to transport liquid molten steel containing ladles from the furnace to the pouring station. Once emptied the ladles are brought back to its original position to repeat the process.

Specially designed ladle cranes lower downtime significantly as tedious tasks are not associated with them unlike large overhead traveling cranes. Further the sizes and configurations of these hot metal cranes make them highly efficient and easy to operate.

These special cranes designed for furnace operations can withstand high temperatures smoke and continuous duty cycle 24 hours working with 150-200 starts/stops per hour. For smooth continuous running, special class IV duty motors are provided with the cranes. All the components and electrical systems used in these ladle handling cranes are from renowned manufacturers. Billet Handling Crane are designed and developed completely in customized specifications. Larger-capacity billet cranes are capable of handling long size billets, which enable the plant's operators to increase the production. Billet lifting cranes have C-hook assembly to support billets, rods, pipes and other elongated product. The hook assembly includes a spreader beam suspended from the winch by a pair of cables. The cranes are available in various capacities and have standard attachments like rectifiers/controllers, cabs with a video monitors and variable frequency drives. These billet cranes with revolving trolleys reduce handling, waste, energy consumption, thereby boosting yields and per-unit costs. The higher capacity cranes have option for magnet service. Working closely with customer's engineers, adequate refurbishment can also be done to ensure compatibility with existing machinery
